About ANZ

Champion Contribution

Kathleen has made significant strides for ANZ this year in the Community Partnerships and Social Impact space, all while managing her primary responsibilities as an Executive Assistant for Customer Service Operations (CSO). Kathleen has managed and coordinated many projects, which included the coordination of over 50 volunteering opportunities and 12 fundraisers throughout the year.

Achievements

Kathleen enabled numerous ANZ employees to utilise their volunteer leave effectively which resulted in 890 employees contributing 6,576 hours to 16 community partners. This
remarkable commitment equated to over 822 working days and a community value of $328,800, with opportunities ranging from skilled to unskilled volunteering.

Gill from The Smith Family noted, 'Volunteers who review Student Profiles help us build meaningful connections between Learning for Life students and their sponsors while ensuring student safety and privacy. ANZ employees also saved us valuable time and resources by helping to screen these profiles.'

Kathleen also played a key role in fundraising, successfully raising over $7,000 for six community partners through ANZ marketplaces. Thanks to Kathleen’s efforts, ANZ saw a 40% increase in new donors during Workplace Giving Month.
